Loyal shoppers will be rewarded<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Sainsbury\u2019s is looking to reward shoppers by introducing a new change to the supermarket\u2019s Nectar loyalty scheme.<\/p>\n

The high street<\/a> giant has announced that highly personalised Your Nectar Prices will now be available at the till from next Friday (July 25).<\/p>\n

Your Nectar Prices, which offer shopper discounts on their favourite products, can only be accessed online or through the Smart Shop app or a self-scanner.<\/p>\n

But from next Friday, you can access the discounts in-store by swiping your Nectar card at the till in a move the supermarket thinks could save people \u00a3150 a year.<\/p>\n

Mark Given, chief marketing, data and\u00a0sustainability\u00a0officer at Sainsbury\u2019s<\/a>, told The Sun: \u2018We\u2019re leading the way by making loyalty personal.<\/p>\n

\u2018Shoppers want to feel recognised and rewarded and while Nectar Prices are for everyone, we know our customers love an offer that is made just for them.<\/p>\n

\u2018That\u2019s exactly what Your Nectar Prices delivers \u2013 it\u2019s about giving customers those extra savings<\/a> on the products they love and buy most.\u2019<\/p>\n

The move came after Sainsbury\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0shoppers were warned to lock their Nectar cards to avoid their points from being stolen.<\/a><\/p>\n

The supermarket was forced to introduce the lock function thanks to\u00a0scammers draining accounts of hard-earned Nectar points<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Shoppers saving up their points to spend at\u00a0Christmas<\/a>\u00a0or on other special occasions have been left \u2018really upset\u2019 and disappointed to find their balance had been spent, sometimes in branches they had never visited before.<\/p>\n

The ease with which scammers can access Nectar points was revealed in January, when\u00a0This Is Money<\/a>\u00a0revealed more than 12million points worth some \u00a363,000 had been taken in the year prior.\u00a0<\/p>\n
